A Health Initiative for Men is held at the Floyd County Health Department Saturday, August 21, from 8am until 12pm. Included in the event are a free health screening, and information booths. Blood Assurance will collect donations. The Floyd County Health Department is located at 16 E. 12th. Street in Rome. The event is sponsored by 100 Black Men of Rome and area hospitals and health departments. For more information call 706-236-6406.
