Mercy Senior Care Gets $500K Grant

A $500,000 Community Development Block Grant has been given
to Mercy Senior Care to move its facilities from
its current home on Third Street in Rome to
the old Riverside School building located at 300
Chatillon Road in Rome.
The care center has already invested $575,000
in purchasing the building.
The move will help them have more space for staff
and clients, along with helping with parking.
Mercy Senior Care provides community-based services to older
adults and their families. Programs range from adult day health
and caregiver support to the Grands Who Care initiative and
employment assistance.
