Phillies Close in on Braves

Not only have the Braves lost four of their last six games,
including a 5-3 defeat by Washington on Thursday, the Phillies
have finally gotten their act together closing to within
2.5 games of Atlanta.
The Braves are 34-13 at home, but 24-30 on the road.
They have now lost two straight series, the first to
Florida and now to Washington.
A week ago, the Braves lead Philadelphia by seven
games. It is now 2.5 games.
The Braves have three more road games in Cincinnati
before returning to Turner Field next week.
