Rome Braves add pitcher Willie Kempf

The Rome Braves have added right-handed pitcher Willie Kempf to
their roster from Danville. Kempf played college baseball at
Baylor. In 2010, he went 9-2 overall (in 22 appearances and 12
games started) with a 3.02 ERA. Kempf also struck out 80 batters
while garnering one save over 83.1 innings pitched.
He was the Atlanta Braves’ 27th round selection in 2010.
