Rome Fails to Make Finals for `Best Tennis Town`

Rome failed to make the final 3 for the Best Tennis Town in
America contest, but was given $2,000 since it made the top 10 list. The top three
cities were Atlanta, Charleston and Richmond. The winner of
the contest will be awarded $100,000 at the U.S. Open
in September.
The other finalist included; Beaverton, Oregon - Clearwater, Florida -
Delray Beach, Florida - Manchester Center, Vermont - Rosemount, Minnesota and
Snow Hill, North Carolina.
