While the Braves won on Wednesday, the victory may have been
costly as starter Derek Lowe had to leave the game with a
blister.
On the field, Atlanta defeated the Mets 7-6 as Jesus Sucre
knocked in the winning run in the bottom of the 10th.
Lowe has a recurring blister on his push-off foot.
The blister popped rendering Lowe ineffective.
He gave up three runs on five hits.
Braves manager Bobby Cox hopes that Lowe`s foot will
be healed before opening day.
