The New Orleans Hornets ended the Hawks winning streak at 7 as they defeated Atlanta 96-88 at Phillips Arena on Saturday.
The defeat left Atlanta only percentage points ahead of the Orlando Magic in the NBA Southeast. Atlanta hosts Orlando on Thursday.
The Hawks were playing their third game in four days. The difference in the game was New Orleans` performance from the three point line as twelve of their seventeen shots found the hole.
