Experts Predicts 60,000 More Jobs Lost in Ga.

According to Rajeev Dhawan, Director of the Georgia State Economic
Forcasting Center, the state is likely to see an addional 60,000
jobs cut next year. The state has already lost 7.5%
of its workforce since the start of the recession.
Dhawan added that a majority of jobs cut have been around Metro
Atlanta, and that is likely where the majority of the new cuts
will come from.
Nationwide, close to 8 million jobs have been cut over the same
period. The current unemployment level is the highest it has been
since the early 1980`s.
