Rains Lift Lanier Above 2008 High

Last week`s rains lifted Lake Lanier to around 1,058
feet in depth. That is higher than its 2008 high
of just above 1057 feet.
The 2008 depth was the lake`s record low elevation.
The lake is just under 5 feet above its elevation at
the beginning of March, 2008.
