Polk County Jail Employee Arrested

Joshua David Lowe, 26, an employee at the Polk County Jail has been arrested on charges related to the conduct of his duties. Lowe was booked into the Floyd County Jail on Feb. 8 at the request of Polk County authorities. No charges were listed on the booking report.
The charges relate to an investigation that began last year into reports of improper contact with an inmate. The Polk County Sheriffs Office reportedly has been conducting an internal investigation.
